Hey guys, I live in CT and have not made it to GIB since 2019! I'm so excited for this year but have limited time... I could go tomorrow night or next weekend. I know it would be better then. Do you think it would be a wasted trip tomorrow night? I'm not looking for buckets. I would be happy with 20 or 30 tubes! What do you think? Thanks.

Hey Guys, A friend wrote that he saw someone catch 10 in about 15 minutes last week. Nothing before, nothing after.  So very spotty.

i haven't fished at Goat Island.

Can you tell me about where I can park and where you recommend I set up on the bridge?

I haven't bought a light yet.  Been seeing people plugging the green rechargeable lights.

FYI::  I'm handicapped.  I can walk but I may have to stop and rest along the way depending on the distance.

Thanks.

Anywhere on the bridge is good. If there is room you can pull right up next to the sidewalk at the bridge. There is a bulkhead next to the sidewalk where you can set up your light. You don’t have to go on the bridge and can still catch squid. If no room next to the sidewalk parking is available on the street on left before the bridge in metered spots. There are some free spaces on the street on the right before the bridge but most requires permits.

It's been quite a while since I've had a chance to go squidding, but it looks like I'm going on a buddy's boat Saturday off PT Judith. If anyone else will be out there and wants to team up feel free to give me a shout. I'll report back in after to let you know how I make out.

I'd be open to going on my boat in the future. I have a 23' CC with underwater lights that I keep in Westerly.
