Got down to Bare Island around 04.00pm caught my first squid around maybe 04.30pm high tide around 06.30pm. squid took my gold daiwa jig . then it went quiet after that .just couldn't raise a tentacle that wasn't until latter <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ohmy.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='

' /> I met them both maybe a month back and they were fishing of the bridge Antonio was casting a soft plastic around I think and when I landed two squid I got talking to them both and couldnt help but to talk about squiding . If you are reading this post good to catch up with you both again . After giving Atonio some tips when I met Him last it was great to hear him today tell me He has since caught several squid . Just needs to buy his wife Paola a rod to also get into the squid. It wasnt until after high tide I hooked onto my second squid a smaller one but still a good one . It was only hanging by the tip of its tentacle and thats what I

' /> I was amazed that it hanged around were I dropped it as I thought they it would of been in a hurry to get out of that spot .
