I am going to the canal tonight to give it a try. Tomorrow I will update how I do. The last time I was there was two weeks ago and did not have any luck. Anyone else been there lately?

No but theres reports that theyre in the canal from guys jigging for bass. Not sure what end youre fishing but there were some reported in the Sandwich Basin.

I never got out the other day and it doesn't look good for tides this week. Saturday will be the next time I can take a swing at it. Hopefully we are not to late in the season.

I got out to the east end of the canal Thursday night. Just after high tide great conditions and there were 6 other guys giving it a go. 2/hrs into it no one pulled one in and it was down to two guys sticking it out until low tide. Very disappointed...they should have been there. might give it one last try in the next couple nights but its over an hour drive so if anyone has had luck on a different tide please let me know so I can save the gas.

Just heard from Edgartown harbormaster. He has been getting squid in the morning and evening, he says lots of ink on some docks. A friend got a bucket full daytime today, has been getting good scores at 6AM. Some bass in the south shore beaches too.
