Newhaven (Philip Island) Report - VIC
#21
Good stuff Ange <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' /> it looks like the arrows have arrived. We fished for calamari on the inshore reefs of PPB last Saturday, and we caught 1 huge arrow squid, maybe 40cm hood, along with about a dozen small-medium calamari.

How did you go on the other fish?
its was very quiet, and sea conditions were not ideal even though there wasnt a breath of wind in melbourne <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mad.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' />

...but how's this for a mixed bag we caught: Flathead, jackass morwong, leatherjacket, couta, arrow squid, sergeant baker, barber perch and missed out on a nice pinkie snapper next to the boat

better luck next time i guess
