Purchasing Squid Heads for Bait

the bait shop i go to has frozen whole squid. there about 5-6 bucks and you get about 3 in there i think



i think most bait shops have em frozen

Maybe tell us where your from.

I get them in kilo bags for about $4 from a local fish shop..........

Most tackle stores will sell them, or go to a fish monger - will more likely be fresh and could be cheaper!!
SA - the land of the bigger fish. The fish on the east, measure the least, but if you head west, you'll be bringing in the best!!

I once had a bag of 20 squid heads I had saved from a few fishing trips

a guy in a boat going out for snapper offered me 20 bucks for them

20 bucks?? Thats not bad............Although it might be hard to get them much cheaper than that. I think we pay 3.50 per kg, but sometimes we get luck and get 4-6 small ones, but other times there may only be 2-3 massive ones.........

Thanks, I might try contacting newport. I live in Pasadena , CA. Anyone else know a good place?

I think we can supply you large quantity of frozen squid head, because our company catch the squid and process them in our plant.
