Washington State - Giant Humboldt squid catches

Some up to 4ft. and weighing as much as 45 Pounds. Local skippers report that in the 40+ years they have been fishing the area they haven't seen anything like this. These suckers love a good fight!

I just got a report on the Giant Humboldt Squid out at Westport Today. Huge numbers in the bay area. They are even coming into the boat harbor, so you don't need a boat to get after these!!!!!



If I wasn't taking off for a few days I would be heading down there tomorrow. Think I'm heading to Juneau Alaska next week, should get in some Salmon fishing there, then HOPEFULLY Sitka Alaska for a couple days and get me some Halibut. I'll be a HAPPY CAMPER then!!!
