' /> Right of the coast of Grays Harbor county in Washington State charter boats are catching large squid in phenomenal numbers. Some up to 4ft. and weighing as much as 45 Pounds. Local skippers report that in the 40+ years they have been fishing the area they haven't seen anything like this. These suckers love a good fight!

I just got a report on the Giant Humboldt Squid out at Westport Today. Huge numbers in the bay area. They are even coming into the boat harbor, so you don't need a boat to get after these!!!!!
If I wasn't taking off for a few days I would be heading down there tomorrow. Think I'm heading to Juneau Alaska next week, should get in some Salmon fishing there, then HOPEFULLY Sitka Alaska for a couple days and get me some Halibut. I'll be a HAPPY CAMPER then!!!
