The squid fishing in Spain is a real passion, there are two distinct areas, the Atlantic Ocean and the Bay of Biscay and the Mediterranean.

In the beginning the first captures mediterrneo On August 15 and it extends into the month of April it made hay with Little hobby boat fishing from the shore, as they make very good weather throughout the year may be doing well to Mar.

The Mediterranean is rich in squid Against what one might think good and grows larger

I live in the north of Spain and here squid fishing is geting more and more famous...



We are a group of fishers and we have started a web page forum called "don pesca" in [url="http://www.donpesca.com/foro/"]http://www.donpesca.com/foro/[/url] were we will put photos and technichs about spinning but also from EGIing... I want to have the best forum in Spain about squid fishing... So I will be grateful to answer the questions I am able to...



The forum is beggining now but you can see some (few) photos but you will see more in future...

Hi Glen!!!



This is suppose to be the TOP 10 from 2011... As you may understand they are bigger than 1 kilo... Here in winter is good time to get big ones... But I know some people has got bigger ones... of about 2 kgs... Today if the wind lets us we will go to beat this...



Squids are getting famous because there are many here and fishing them is very funny with the rod... I come from spinning but EGIing is very similar and I like a lot...



But we still have a lot to learn...

hola a tod@s despues de mucho tiempo sin entrar en el foro me alega ver que ha mejorado en contenido y calidad

tambien recordar que en Almeria Andalucia España donde yo estoy la pesca del calamar desde la orilla y con caña

sigue siendo una pasion con muchos seguidores aqui suele empezar desde finales de septiembre primeros de octubre hasta casi finales de abril,las especies quetenemos aui son el calamar eurpeo o loligo vularis,el loligoopalescens

y el loligo pelay,las mejores horas las d atardecer con poco viento y ligera corrientede levante y resaltar que est es el cuarto año malo ya que las capturas estan siendo pocas.

desde almeria un saludo a tod2s los pescadores.
