I was there a couple nights ago, nothin but someone I know said they have a couple, although the story appears to be an apocryphal skipper <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/boat.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> G.I.S.S. #011

i went ovre to goat island last night and had the gear with me. There were not many of them but after a half hour of lantern lite a school came in. i ended up with about 12 pounds in an hour. get out and get them!!!!!!!!!!
ARE YOU SERIOUS? IT IS A VERY LONG DRIVE FOR ME.
19-04-2009, 04:19 PM
yes i'm serious. as we all know they can be there one night and not the next. i went out the very next night and saw only a couple of them and they werent biting.
like a previous posting said I HOPE ITS NOT LIKE LAST YEAR. none of us do!!!!!!! but its time to get down to the water and see what we can do
27-04-2009, 01:58 PM
there no squid guys this week should be pretty sure the water getting warmer
28-04-2009, 08:26 AM
there has been a small amount of femalle squids that show up a little earlier than the rest of the school every year, they are in small numbers and are not biting
however, the squid should probably be in tonight or tomorrow, if not last night skipper <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/boat.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':boat:' /> G.I.S.S. #011 |
