I am friends with Coastal Charters Sport fishing on Facebook and they just posted a video of them filling buckets off Hyannis... Everyone on the boat was like one after another! So hopefully they will be here soon

Hi guys, does anyone know if squid ever make it to Stamford or Norwalk CT? Also, when people on this board mention Eastern CT, where exactly in Eastern CT are they referring to? Can someone give me a city and street and specific squidding location?

Sorry to put this in here, but I heard from a friend that seen an asian fishermen at Tiverton caught half a bucket of squid. Â I am all for pictures and proof, but I thought I'd put this on here since it is new/report. Â
Â
I have to work, but get antsy because I'd rather go squiding. Â Each day I look forward to the weekend of fishing. Â Can't wait to get out there regardless of catching nothing because it is better than work. Â And a nice cold beer after fishing.

Im tempted to try out day squidding. I hear bright colors are good when there is more available light but I have never tried. Is it only good at Goat island or have you guys had any success at other land based locations?

Drove across the GI bridge today at 3:30pm and not a person fishing!  coming back over the bridge saw one fellow with
rod and reel walking across the rocks by the park. Checked a few other spots and same. Frances fleet is starting this
weekend for squid as some have been taken off the beaches by boats

Thanks TJ, but I meant more specifically in terms of locations around Eastern CT where people frequently go to catch them. I'm coming all the way from Stamford and the fuel gets costly making the hike to JT or GI each time (the trip is also very tiring, especially coming back at 3 or 4am). So if there was a closer hot squidding spot (somewhere in CT), I'd seriously consider it. Thanks.
