I was over in Port Orchard On June 3rd, caught about 15 or so in about an hour. They were all pretty small.

Was down at Salty Piew tonight, tide was high and a couple people were jigging for squid around 9:30, no one caught anything, does it matter the tide when squid fishing, is low tide better?

So somone can correct me if im wrong, but I dont think you need a low tide to catch squid, but if the tide is changing, either in or out, you may have better luck because thats when the sea life seems to feed.... at least from what i've read.

I went down a couple nights ago and the seal spoiled it for everyone.

Was out at Redondo Pier tonight and got skunked.

The guy next to me pulled 3 or 4 out right around dark. Following his advice I switched to a smaller jig size but the bite seemed to have ended as quick as it started. A couple other groups showed up with lanterns but no one was catching anything.

Fishing off the Watermans Pier in Port Orchard. First night was around midnight. Second night was around 2am when a school came in and started biting like crazy.

Was using green small jigs. Enjoy the pics.

Good turnout of Squidders last night at Watermens Pier in Port Orchard. Some people had some descent luck. A pretty large school game in around 10pm.I was tired so only caught about 20 medium sized ones, got my catch fro Red Rock crabs, and left around 11pm
