Can't decide on which one to go with.
I'll be buying them from overseas to save money, I don't feel like paying $30-$45 per jig.

I'd personally go the Harimitsu's over the Yamashita's. Use both & always seem to catch more on the Hari's & as already mentioned there colour range in awesome, reckon the overall quality is better on them too.

I was thinking of getting aji/gold, red/red, weed/clearblood, orange/rainbow, pink/rainbow & egg melon.
All in 3.0, I just need to size the 3.0 jig first.

<img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup2.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':thumbsup2:' /> I reckon they would go ok i have seen some of those colours ., size 3.0 is a good alround size.

Yeah I wanted a middle ground size to start off with and if they turn out to be great jigs I'll get 2.5 and 3.5 jigs.
I was planning to stick with Yo-Zuri as I've used them for a number of years, sadly they don't seem as well made as they once were.

I ordered six Harimitsu jigs on Wednesday and they arrived earlier today.
I decided to try out Pink/Rainbow foil, Orange/Rainbow foil, Green/Gold foil, Red/Red foil, Purple/Purple foil & Weed/Clear Blood.
After looking at the #2.5 size in compleat angler last week I decided that to go with the #3.0 size as the former felt too small for a starting size.
The cloth covering is fantastic as it reflects tiny flecks of rainbow colour, so in conjunction with whatever colour foil you go with these things are going to reflect a hell of a lot of light for daytime jigging.

I make collection of jigs and i go for fishing every day. may have different in my location from yours but I've tried as much as possible manufacturers. I personally believe that this yamashita has done a great job with egi oh q live from the other companies. is a greater difference if they match the conditions suggested. I've also found that in the changes in the wind may have greater success as the continuous constant temperature of water and the waves. should not choose the color reflecting in the water. when i start fishing until understand some features of my location i spend time for change colors on jig.
