Was at Carrum a couple hours ago and it was muddy. Wasn't going for squid though. Caught a 45cm flattie! <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/fishing.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':rod:' />

been brighton a few times in the last couple of weeks, sunset rising tide and wind in my favor and come up with nothing



went beauy a couple and came out with 3 or 4 each time



but i went out on my boat yesterday bagged out on squid down mornington way, davey bay and so on some monsters too

Hey guys, Just an update on brighton pier. Fished for squid about 3 hours from sun set and nothing, water is a little dirty due to all the rain we been having. Other people were catching snapper and mullet near the rocks.

hey mate not bad and yourself? havent been on here for ages i know havent been doin much fishin in the last 6 months but im back into it now and had a couple of good trips too mainly on the boat but been gettin a few at beauy gotta love that little spot... specially when the salmon are running

went brighton pier last night 7pm to 9pm, low tide, no wind. water was bit muddy. no squid. but i can see two or three ink marks at there.

is anyone went there recently? there was no squid fisherman last night. early season for squid fishing?<img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Hey guys really good thread. Just wondering if anyone knows how black rock pier is going at night (squid, gars, anything else)? been there a few times but only got a KGW back in january. Also if anyone knows how mordialloc pier is going of a night would love to hear. Even if its of a morning that you go, i'd love to hear!
