Fished Brighton monday night just before the first shelter
got three biggest one 700 grams smaller one 300 grams.
Anyone else been out?

Im in JApan at the moment on Holidays and do we ever get ripped off in Australia. Jigs at about $10 and all sorts of squiding rods avaliable here.ãI found a shop called Book Off here which is a cash converters and picked up a couple of reels and rods.

fished friday arvo/night, got 2 small ones, brighton has slowed down alot.

Found great chain of stores in Japan dealing with second hand fishing gear. Squid jigs for $3 to $4 for yozuri, yamashita, breaden etc. I went nuts..

is there anyone who got luck at brighton recently? still good condition? i tried 13th Nov but no luck.
i am thinking my fishing at there this weekend late at night.

Yoshi if you trying after dark i would fish the incoming tide at brighton, the rocks seem to be not doing well after dark so stick to the pier.
If i was you i would go there at either sunrise or sunset.
We mostly fish there from 4pm till dark.

thanks mate! i will try there. how about 2am or 3am?
and i'm not sure about best season for squid at brighton. is there still good to fish squid?

Hello,

Fish the tide or the water temp or sunset or sunrise.
also best to fish brighton with a north wind, nnw, nne or very low westly winds.
Brighton has slowed down alot but still getting squid from there.
They are down deep almost sitting on the bottom.

i dont think wind is any good at all over the weekend so i wouldnt waste your time.
maybe go beaumaris pier its abit more covered from the wind
