Multiple Jigs?
#1
Hi All

Does anyone use 2 Jigs ( or more ) on the same line??

I thought different colours might be an idea to cover more options , but I don't hear much about it so wondered if this technique was no good !!

If you do, how is it rigged?? direct to main line or off leaders?

2 or more squid jigs are used mainly at night time but it's on a float. Are we talking about the same technique?

hello my friend....!! i have tried many times to use more than one squid jig in my line...the are several ways you can do it ..a)make a leader from a monofilament 0.30mm at about 1.5mtr length...tie a swivel an the one end(there you will later tie your fishing line from the reel)...then ..count 50cm from the other end ,and tie a swivel with a clip with a palomar knot on the leader .(as you would do in a drop shot rig <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' /> )...After that you are almost ready....you just have to tie a swivel with clip at the end of the leader (as you usually do when you fish) ....I use this ''rig'' with a small floating squid jig on the first swivel and a big 2.5# or 3.0# at the second....it is very effective and sometimes you might catch 2 squids together Big Grin Big Grin

PS when i have some time i will upload a photo to see how i do it ..hope i helped a bit
