Went out for an afternoon session with Inkky.
Perfect afternoon and we brought home 15 Calamari, including 2 aircraft carriers.

Nice catch.
I'm sick of catching southerns though, I can't wait until I move to Swansea so I can enjoy arrow heads.

How big are we talking?
Or do you think they taste better?

LoL my dad taught me how to squid originally but now I'm trying to show him what eging is all about. To be honest anything over 4 squid is a lot for land based for me but when I read ton's, it kinda made me wonder. All good though, how are you catching your squid? Eging (Japanese style you see on youtube), cast and retrieve with jerk?
And where are you landing your arrows? I haven't caught them in a while.

From the shore or boat in Yarra bay? I am having squid for dinner tomorrow night, I just have to catch some tomorrow.
I am going to Clovelly first, bare island after that and Yarra bay is just around the corner for high tide.
