ive been umming n arrhing for about a year now about buying a kayak, was wondering a few things.

1st of all n this is a big one for me, do u get a wet bum?

if a large boat comes passed with the swell how does is handle it, do you n ur gear get wet?

how hard is it to squid fish out of it?

after i while is it uncomfortable sitting like that, any pains?

whats the paddling/peddling like, does it move through the water easy or u have to put some effort into it?

and how do u find transporting it,do u put it on roof rack or does it fit inside a wagon with th seats down?

sorry bout so many Q's, i dont know anybody with a kayak especially using it for squiddin like wat i want to do.

1.) yes, you do get a wet bum, unless the water is completely flat

2.)it depends, if you hit it head on you wont get very wet, but side on it is likely that you and your gear will get splashed

3.)It takes a little bit of learning new landing techniques but after that its relatively easy

4.)the solaris has a really nice backrest, which makes it very comfy

5.)it cruises quite easily to a certain speed, but going fast requires more effort

6.)you will need roof racks of some sort, it is 2.7 meters

Its really useful for covering more area-i know tons of really good spots that you need a kayak to fish.
