Hi all,

I'm hoping someone out there around the Gold Coast is willing to share some information about how and where to catch squid.

I have been searching online for some information and everything seems to be several years old. There has to be some keen squid fishermen about.


If someone is out there and getting amongst them, any advice would be greatly appreciated

Yes, this place seems pretty dead, though slowly if there are some keen people it might come back to life!

 

I've only been squid fishing since the beginning of the year, and haven't been on the GC much, but from what I see on other forums, if you can get to Cleveland / Wynnum / Many / Woody Point you'll definately come away with a couple. I've been trying around Mud Island, but haven't had any luck yet.
