Had a good session this morning with 4 nice squid from 15cm to my new PB 38cm hood. The big one was only just hooked though the long tentacles and proved difficult to land but after a few tence minutes I landed it. Beautiful conditions on the water and a tasty lunch coming up. I got 2 on a dark red warm jacket and 2 on a small pink and yellow yo zuri. The big one put up such a great fight. Till next time...

Congrats on the squid job well done. Thats probably lunch and dinner there.
How was the water quality out there, i was under the impression that you dont really get them after a lot of rain.
Are you land based or in a boat?
Thanks

It was before the rain. The water was perfect flat and clear. I imagine it would be average now. I got them on the island and on the main land before the bridge.

Hi,
I am new to this forum and also squidding.
I just went to La Parouse and flicked my jig for 30 minutes just near the bridge. It is near low tide.
Sadly there is no taker.
Any hint? Or it is just matter of luck?
Thanks
