What lightbulb do I need to use?

Hey everyone, I'm pretty new at squidding (only went on 2 trips so far) and saw people at my local piers using generators and batteries for a lamp. I'm wondering, what kind of light bulb do they use? I bought a battery last night and a 75 Watt Outdoor Halogen Flood light bulb, but it didn't seem as strong as everyone else's. Anyone have any recommendations that I could buy at Home Depot or something?
