Hi, I would like to take on squid fishing, but have no idea as to where to start. So I'm looking for squid fishing places in Whidbey Island where I can meet other fisherman and learn from them.

A fishing pier with a light at night. Probably not on the east side of the island, more luck on the west and south sides.


Come down to Edmonds or downtown Seattle a few times this fall/winter to see how it's done before exploring new territory, that way you can be confident in what you feel and how it's done. And what equipment is needed/works.
