New to Squid fishing. Does anyone knows a good place/time to fish in W - NavyHunter95 - 20-06-2013 Hi, I would like to take on squid fishing, but have no idea as to where to start. So I'm looking for squid fishing places in Whidbey Island where I can meet other fisherman and learn from them. New to Squid fishing. Does anyone knows a good place/time to fish in W - liam - 22-06-2013 A fishing pier with a light at night. Probably not on the east side of the island, more luck on the west and south sides. Come down to Edmonds or downtown Seattle a few times this fall/winter to see how it's done before exploring new territory, that way you can be confident in what you feel and how it's done.
