About 15 boats out around Nantucket sound, Vinyard yesterday, nobody catch any squid, did not see anything except Jelly fish. The water is still too cold.
People not too nice giving out bad rumor. Â Peace!!!

I made it down to the Beverly pier this evening, almost low tide, a bit on the chilly side and windy. Needless to say I was the only dummy silly enough to be down there, LOL. It was a ghost town, no people, no fish (that I could see ) and no squid. I'll stop back later in the week and see if any thing improves.Â

Hi Janz, It was a nice to meet you in person. After you left about an hour after, there were large schooled of Squid came in. They weren't active biting the jigs, however the few other guy you talked to end up caught about 40+ squids large one. They used large spider jigs and hooked the squid as they swim by. I don't have that type of jigs so couldn't catch much.

Quote:Nice to meet you and your pal last night  Nice meeting you too Rusty. My friend and I were in tn town for the knife show in Mystic. I was surprised he had the patience to stand around since he doesn't fish.
One of my charter captain buddies on the Vinyard told me Provincetown and another town on the cape have closed the town docks to squidding due to the fighting among asians and others on the docks. Anybody know if this is true?? I'd sure hate to see this spread to other areas!!

It's been a while I'm might be doing less trip to there and please don't tell where you caught it. Just reminder last year incident. Bunch of idiots brought boat, fishing right next to dock, that almost impossible to fishing. You told me "dude can you see it? What you've been done?"

I'm here today with my north shore fish report....we have none.  After work today I took a ride over to the pier at the willows to sling a sibiki rig around for a few casts, no bites, no scales or ink stains on the docks, no nothing. I then took a ride over to the Beverly pier. There were a couple guys on the dock with no action, I dropped a blue yamashita in for a few sinks, no bites. Maybe tomorrow is the day, who knows. Good luck out there.

I was wondering that when I saw the video on Youtube. No one has caught more than 1 or 2 but supposedly people were catching half buckets from GI? Not that I blame him. They do have the largest selection of jigs around.
