Hi all,
Just experienced my first squid fishing expedition and it was awesome.
We launched out of Bodega Bay and fished the Cordell Banks (sp?) and ran ourselves ragged pulling in 20 to 30 pound squid. My arms hurt! If you're near the area look up the New Sea Angler captained by Rick Powers. Great boat and a great Captain, and not just for squid. The bite is on!
Anyway, I'm not normally the biggest seafood fan (I mostly love the sport) and I'm also capable of burning water around the kitchen, so I wonder if any of you can tell me a couple of (really) idiot proof recipes for my fifty pounds of inch-thick squid steak.
