Hi Newbie!!!!!
Seattle has been slow still, but have heard spotty results from the Des Moines area lately. I would recommend trying to hit the water about an hour before dark, even better if you can time it with an incoming tide.
Until things pick up however, I would recommend Tacoma or Port Orchard/Bremerton which has been having better success.
Jig selection also is important, and I would recommend our Puget Sound Squid Teaser selection (mostly the smaller sizes until the larger squid come in), they can be found on our web site
