After a friend got a few big tubes at the canal on Sunday, the two of us went again last night. We spent a few hours in gusty conditions and got shut out. Current was moving west to east at a pretty good clip, but with 1.5 oz. the bottom was easy to feel.
Squidding,like fishing can often be hit or miss, but this time of year especially so. Anyone else get out in the last few days? I'm eager to get one last good outing before they move on.
