Fished the incoming tide Sat from 4pm to midnight around Quonsset Pier (about 2 miles N of Jamestown Bridge)
Squid were everywhere and we did well near the channel edge around 27 feet of water. At dark we moved close to the pier in 15 feet of water. Chummed with clam/bunker chum on the bottom. When we ran out we sprayed chopped up shiners with bunker oil. Squid were very aggresive on the pink as well as white Yozuri jigs until slack tide (10pm) The bite started again around 11:15 but was much slower. Left at midnight with 3 full 5 gal. pails split between the three of us. A good haul needless to say. Snaildarter.
