How Do I Rig These Squid Jigs?
#1
Ok, I bought some cloth squid jigs from Yozuri. Problem was, the instructions are all in Japanese and the only picture there shows it being rigged paternoster style.

What i need help in is how do i tie the 2 strings together securely and how do i attach it securely to the rig?

Here's the closeup view of the 2 strings. Any suggestions?

hi Kalib,

certainly a strange way for a squid jig to be made <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':ink' />

my two suggestions are either using a swivel and tying the jig onto the swivel, or making a loop in your line and tying it directly to the line.

Both ways can allow you to use the jig in a paternoster rig. Your knot with the two strings would be pretty crucial, im sure others can advise you on this.

Hi, thanks for all the replies so far.

Anyone can help on this? I'm not sure how do i tie the knot to secure both strings.

Chick3n: Yup, agreed. The knot is the crucial part and i'm not sure what would be a good knot to use.

glen: Some pictures would be helpful, maybe i can get my answer from there.
