New to the site and am yet to get my first Squid. <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mad.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':moped:' /> Not through lack of trying. Last week I was boat fishing in Yarra Bay

[Botany Bay] and a bloke pulled up beside me and cast in the same location as me and bang Squid.



Anyway nice to be part of the team.

Welcome to the forum Russ. squid can be hard to catch sometimes. if you see someone squidding near you with a lot of success using a jig with particular size and colour, might worthwhile to switch your jig to something similar <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> Keep trying, you will get yours! <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup2.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':moped:' />
