Hi everyone,
I was asked recently where exactly do the squid in the newport area go after the come into the newport area.
I had the impression that they moved further into the bay. You will see the document referred to below on page 24 has the following graph. It suggests the squid move progressively up into the "upper bay" which basically includes the areas around Colt State Park, Bristol Narrows, Bristol Ferry Landing, Stone Bridge Tiverton, and QP/D Allen Harbor.

Please let me know if the information above is correct and also please let us know where the squid go after they leave the area.
