Report: (most likely same as others.)
Friday: Fished all nightâ¦.nothing
Sat: Buddy calls me up around 9pm saying there hitting. Grab my gear and burn rubber. Spent all night Satâ¦nothing. However, my buddy and another guy did manage to catch around 12 total. A course, As soon as I get there the brief run has ended for the rest of the night.
Mr. FlukeProdigy may be correct about tonight. Letâs hear some reports from who gambles this evening. I will most likely be out again Wed. night.
Good luck.

The wind/tide and water temps all suggest a squid run. Like I said, i may head up thursday night depending on how this night pans out.

Hi All,
I am new to this forum and started fishing for squid on the tail end of last season. I think we are looking for the wrong sign. What we need to keep an eye out for; is the lady in the photo with the three buckets of squid posted a couple of pages back or so. Once she has been spotted that's a good sign the squid are in.
That's my two cents.

I was out there last night for maybe 2 hours (7-8, 9-10 ish, left for dinner in between) Had a rig with 2 yo-zuris, and got nothing whatsoever. <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mad.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='B)' /> One guy on the bridge apparently had two squid (I didn't see the squid, but someone else did and there are 2 ink stains up there) Must have been too cold or something. Maybe next week? <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/fishing.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':rod:' /> ..heh.

I'm going back to GI again tonight... I'm hell-bent to be there once that first big wave hits.
I'm heading out to work tomorrow though, and won't be back till Sat AM... with my luck they'll come in the day after I leave <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mad.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='B)' /> .
Such is life. I'll leave a report in the AM.

Hey Joe, This is Reese and Joe from last night. We're still doing the Saturday trip, but if we hear any good reports i'll be back down on Thursday. You're at school in the area, right? Let me know if you wanna meet up and give it a try on Thursday night, cuz my father can't make it down this time, so I don't have anyone to fish with. Hopefully we'll get some good reports soon!

Eatfish, you can also go to the DEM dock in Jamestown...sometimes...if they let you. We also have gotten a good amount of squid off the main dock in Jamestown facing the Npt bridge. Good times...but the dock is still full of lobster traps and some kind of crane thing. Might get a little crowded there this year. <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/fishie.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='B)' />

That DEM dock is where I was thinking about. The main dock is interesting, I would have figured that to be private. I want to try a canoe this year with a 12V power supply and some handheld spot lights. I bet two guys could clean up in a few hours. Have enough to eat and as bait
