Connecticut Squid Fishing

For years, when I was in the navy, I fished for squid of of Pier 2 at the U.S. Naval base. After I retired, I went to the causeway at Goat Island but didn't have as much luck as on the base. Now, I'm living in Waterford, CT and have the desire to do some jigging again. Does anyone know where in Southeastern Connecticut I can go? Also, does anyone need a jigging partner? My sons used to go with me to Newport but they're grown now and have other interests.

I personally have not tried it but I have read about squid being caught in Stonington. Try a search on here and see what you find.
