Fishing In Launceston Tasmania

Can anyone please advise me on the nearest spot to Launceston in Tasmania for squid.

I am just new to the area and to squid fishing, and would appreciate any tips.

the closest place i have seen squid was the Tamar estuary but I am sure there will be closer (and better) spots.
