Squid Fishing At Kelong In Batam, Indonesia

We've got SQUIDS!

The [url="http://shalomresort.webs.com"]Shalom Resort Kelong[/url] is located at Galang Island, south of Batam Island.

Well plenty of marine life there, water's usually calm and casting lines from the kelong's jetty will definitely land you fishes or squids!

What a nice kelong you have & potential hot spot for squid fishing here in Batam. I just visited your site & left a question at guest book. I've been looking for good spot for squid fishing, seems that your place's one of it. Hope someday I have a chance to visit there. Nice pictures...

Wait till you see the actual kelong and its location....some of my guests named it Paradise <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

I read with interest your comment in the Guestbook (which is an unusual spot to inquire about the kelong).

Anyway much as we love to accommodate you, we are fully booked for December 08. As for a day trip, we do not have such a package, so its tough to decide, will let you know through this tread soon.

Many thanks anyway. Actually we just want to go fishing all day long (squid & rabbit fish) not booking the room, might take lunch or dinner at the restaurant if possible. Sorry typo, I meant to write "we are currently" and not "we can currently". Will be leading a large group to the kelong again, on 15th~17th Dec., will upload photos of the catch...hopefully some really nice squids.
