I'm Back
#1
just a quick post to say HI I'm back in after forgetting my password...DER... should have just changed it...months ago...as you can see I'm pretty quick sometimes..NOT!!

Hope you all had a great chrissy and new years and look forward to some good posts.

I have not been chasing squid up here for a while as the water has been too dirty where I fish but that should change soon and be back on the ball again.

sux to be you lot down there <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Tongue' /> atm , not that hot up here but warm enough.

by the looks of the weather charts I'd better keep my floaties handy caue I think there's a bit of moisture coming our way soon with a low presure system developing off the coast.

I watched an episode of adventurebound the other night and one of their crew was fishing the entrance to western port and was catching some huge squid...are they the norm for down there???.

I saw that episode too a while back (they tend to do quite a few repeats i think). I think that guy on adventure bound has a gift for catching ALL the big squid!!!! That is why I can't manage to catch any! <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':th' />

Kingy

Try trolling a live squid on a down rigger if you have one.

The bloke on adventure bound was doing this down at Jervis bay in front of the cliffs and was getting smoked BIG time.

good luck
