Hey guys I fisah at moonta jetty SA and recently purchased the new "Flash dance" squid jig from yo-zuri. Is this Jig effective?

Also i have trouble catching squid after dark.

I purchased a glow in dark squid jig but havent yet used it.

Any tips?

Hi Clay,

Flash dancer is a very good jig for night fishing. fish it under a light source to maximize its "flashing" effect. Yo-zuri AORA is also good, and you can fix a light stick in it, and it works very well. I've heard people had great success with pheromone skin jigs at night, but i havent tried it at night yet for myself <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' />

I catch all my squid at night. Probably because im stuck at work during the day! <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Wink' />

I normally fish on piers near lights as it seems to attract the small bait fish, and the squid come for them.

Good luck and keep trying! You will get there eventually! <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/cool.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':lol' />

I just bought a new Yo-Zuri cloth covered jig in pink, i didn't realise it had a luminous strip at the tail and luminous eyes....

Could be helpful for night fishing.... but as others have said, stick around lights perhaps.

I have never tried with a whole glow stick, but would love to see how effective it would be
