I am going fishing on a Malaysia Kelong. Just wonder if Size 1.8 Squid Jigs work well ?

excellent size for small squid, and can also account for some bigger models. some people swear by them, and thats all they would use. but for me, they are a bit light and wont sink if there is a bit of wind. you can use it with a dropper (less action), or just use bigger size - 2.5 is my favourite. <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

i was able to get 3 squid within an hour at mt martha on a 1.8 jig, i lost it to a cracked guide and frayed line though.
The squid around the kelongs at sibu are pretty small sized, so 1.8 jigs should work pretty well i guess.
