I'm not sure you need the Mad Russian tho mate <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='

I must admit glen, when we are fishing for Snapper out wide and the squid move in, you can't even get a bait down!!
We are doing everything not to catch them..... If you were actually trying and using jigs, you'd be getting a squid every drop.
You'd have 15 or 20 squid in 30minutes with a couple on board helping.
Funny how something can be a pest when you are targeting something else.... and vice versa <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='

I have some mates that catch squid around Melbourne out of kayaks, looks like great fun!!!
Check it out.

The camera that filmed this is available all over Melbourne and Geelong etc.... $340 and you are all done.
I know for a fact the guy in this youtube video owns a 6meter boat and is selling it.... just to keep his kayak.
Should see him fish for surface sharks in it.... Nuts
