Puget Sound, Wa (2010 Season)
Caught 2 big ones and about a dozen small ones down by the aquarium. Went from 7pm-11pm.

hi to everyone i went to outdoor emporium today to get squid jigs.there hard to find but outdoor emporium had them in lots of colors.going tonight if i can stand the cold and the wind is not blowing to hard.
Love outdoor empo! I have been getting pretty good catches with their small pink jigs in seattle.. Watch out for new years drunkards if you go out tonight! Goodluck

Call me a giant puss but I'm not going out in 25 degree weather to catch a couple squid. ^^
this morning at les davis ..for the first time...i had salt water frosen to my rod...squid slushy..cooold

They must have gotten a new shipment of jigs. I went to the outdoor emporium a couple of weeks ago and they barely had any jigs left. I just got 9 jigs from Jon a few days ago. Haven't tried them out yet, not going out in below freezing temps. I'm still sick from Monday night.
just got back tonight at 7 o clock. just a pound of little squeekers in Port orchard. Not worth the cold and wind. If they were big squrters then no problem lol.

went seattle 1/2/2011 from 3pm-7:15pm got 9lbs total between the two of us. Four 7inchers. I think I"m sicker now. It was coooold, but not windy.

I used one red followed by one green on the bottom. I didn't try the ones with the eyes yet.

Tryin to make it to 86 tonight.... Anyone been down there lately? I keep hearing des moines being brought up. Has it been that good down there?
This is my first time trying for squid - I live down in Lacey - any news if there's any squid down here yet? I know they typically hit down here late Dec to January. Any news??? And where has the fishing been best for the squid down here? THANKS!!!
