Bug Has Bitten Collection Has Grown

well ive been bitten by the squid bug, and now have expanded my collection of squid jigs now contains (all yo-zuri):



1x 3.5 shrimp hunter premium pink



2x 2.5 Aurie Q's in brown and green



4x 2.0 Aurie Q's in green, orange, pink and blue



now i feel the collection is complete for a while, nice assortment of jigs

haha nah i cant do it to myself, if i buy another then more of my alvey budget goes down the drain, iim bout to purchase my "dream" beach fishing setup consisting of a 14ft rod fitted with a 700 alvey reel, so close i can taste it. How can you have 50 jigs though, ahh wait very easily haha, espically as seeing as this week i was only ment to have 2 new yo-zuri jigs and only had budget for 2 and ended up with 6...

yep it starts with one , then two , three , forty , sixty and so on.

but in the end only 5 catch squid consistently so burn the rest hahahahahahahahahaha.

hows it going chippy....the squid on my haunts are dead but there are plenty over on the banks but I've been chasing prawns and so far we've got about 28kg in the last 3 outings.....some good stuff among them too.

took 3 of mi new jigs out this morning, was saprised how good these move through the water, with a 7am cast off the pink was a no goer, so i moved onto the brown, picked up one squid only small on about the 5th cast, then chucked it out for another 30 mins, no luck, so i switched to the green and picked off another 4 beauties, no camera this time round as i didnt expect to hook on, cleaned on the spot and where cooked up for lunch, fresh crumbed calamari rings, wow, tasty as, not tough or chewy, perfection..... cant beat that with some fresh lemon squeezed over the top and $5 of hot chips

now you need spares of the green one, and also a few different size green ones as well

next thing you know you have 10, then 20, then 30, then.....

Yeh same here, I feel I have a good cross section atm, but sheit when you lose a few to the busted line brigade on the rocks it's funny how short gunned you feel. I suppose thats bexause you tend to use your favourites the most, and when the are gaawn there feels like a hole in the arsenal.



Oh well thats how I feel anyways.
