I know that people fish off the Piers due to the lights attracting the squid, but could you catch them anywhere in the Puget Sound that has a light source? At the marina where I keep my boat moored thier is a bright light at the end of my slip. There is no breakwater blocking the free flow of current and my slip is about 80 yards off shore. So I was wondering if I could just drop a jig right there and avoid the combat squid fishing found at the Port Orchard area Piers.
