In my opinion, if you're going to do a night session, rather than drifting, I would sound up a channel or reef edge, anchor up and berley, berley, berley. Fish a few big baits out the back for a snapper or gummy (silver whiting, fish heads for snapper or squid heads/strips for gummies), and fish a smaller bait close to the berley source for whatever might wander up the trail (trevally, whiting, flathead). And pop out a squid jig if you have a spare rod......if you were able to catch a small squid then put it straight back out as a bait, you could catch anything <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':th' />
