Well last night on the Frances Fleet.
It was a hit or miss kind of night. Some folks got full buckets and others struggled to get just a few.
There were differences in the style of jigs with small solid colors doing better than the yo-zuri type. Also lighter weights seemed like a good choice and a small weighted bottom jig actually, in place of a sinker, reeled in while jigging seemed to be the hot ticket.
It did seem like the squid came in waves as there were times of nothing coming over the rail. But all in all it was a good trip especially when its one a 15 to 20 minute boat ride to the area we stopped at.
