Due to lack of reports, this will be my last post and report:Â
Yesterday in Jamestown the squid were in heavy and we raked in a full 5 gal bucket. Â They were averaging 8 inches, but the biggest caught were 12 inches. Â There were many shy squids.
Hot color was pink on the rising tide. Â
Tonight is going to be hott with the winds in the low 3mph. Â
I'd say start wetting your jig at 4pm and dry it out 11pm.
This year's squid session is very late, but it should be strong for the next week or so.
