[drift squid]

theres way of controlling the squid from inking you n everything.

 

while its water itll ink in the water, n thats fine but u dont hold ur rod in front of you u point it left or right(the squid allways points to the tip of the rod)

 

now lift its head only out of the water wait a few secs it will squirt once it squirts once try not to let it reload (it will reload from where it shoots out from)

 

now heres the important bit, lift it of the water gently to allways maintain pressure keep the rod bent dont lift up n down to lose the bend in the rod.

by doing this i can control the squid from inking i can pretty much hold it there for a hour if i wanted too and it will not ink once.

as soon as i place it on the ground (pointing away from u n ur gear) it will ink straight away.after that its safe to handle as it cant reload.

 

u can grab the line b4 u drop it but it starts to get risky, u increase ur chace of inking by doing this.
