Smith make a killer rod in general, but i've not been able able to find any reviews or anything on their Egi rods.

thats is an insanely heavy egi rod, minimum for No 4 jigs +/- .5
163grams just for the rod, judging by the price they go for in japan i'd say $550-650 here
You'd probably pick up a breaden or Graphite leader rod for the same size jigs and same line specs and length, but lighter in weight and around the same price if not cheaper.
