never tried that, but i do use some sprays/gulp juice/s-factor sometimes. there just aint many squids there nowadays. a few years back we can catch a few per session quite easily, but not anymore. i typically see 1 squid between 5 squidders in a 2-3hr afternoon session. cheap jigs dont stand a chance, these squids had seen it all <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='
' /> and there is always the issue of landing the squid from the bridge if you happen to hook a decent one, anything over a kilo will be difficult to land by yourself...
