its called fishing.. not fish catching.
Put your time in.. scout out locations, talk to people for advice.. learn to fish the area you choose.. there no magic button to catch fish.. a baitshop is a great place to get intel on where to fish.. what to use.. when to go.
There are plenty of places to fish.. those suggested above are great locations.. its still fairly early for bass. but a few schoolies are trickling in.
If you really wanna get some action.. go to castle island fishing pier. not the rotatory.. fish the night tide two hours before high.. i am 90% sure you ll get into some fish.. codfish.. use clams or shrimp or seaworms if your good... limit is 10 a day at 24" minimum
