Hi folks, went down to Flinders this morning and fished at first light. Got there just as you could see the first light of the day (5am) and hooked up within 5 mins of being there (nothing huge, around 20cm) on a pink yozuri.... which i then lost in the weed <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='

Could see quite a few squid hanging around the pier in the lights. Had a decent sized squid charge at the jig just as i retrieved back toward the pier but it didnt want a bar of it when it got close (green yozuri) and nothing else seemed to excite them (even when switching back to a pink jig). Friend i went with caught a cuttlefish that wasnt too bad in size (30cm+). I have no idea on weights for either but we left around 7am satisfied with our 2 hours of fishing.
