West melbourne land based squid

Hey guys im new to this forum and new to squiding and never been, i got myself some squid jigs and want to go out and catch some where would the best location be in West Melbourne land based as i don't have a boat YET lol, i try go fishing once every 2 weeks but kinda hard when you got friends who don't like the outdoors so give me a buzz with some good locations and best way to catch them <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> thanks.
